Service Description

Get a clearer picture of your farm’s growing conditions with a one-off assessment. No membership required. We walk the land with you, discuss your observations, and identify conditions that may be affecting crop health and productivity. This service includes: • Water flow and drainage: identify visible water paths, pooling, runoff, and potential trouble spots. • Pest concerns: look for signs of pest activity and conditions that may encourage damage. • Sunlight and shade: review how light exposure may affect crop placement and growth. • Soil test interpretation: explain your available soil test results in plain language, including nutrient levels and soil pH. • Crop suitability: provide a list of crop options informed by the soil’s reported nutrient availability, alongside water, sunlight, drainage, and other site conditions. You receive an assessment summary, crop options, and a prioritized list of practical next steps. We flag any concerns that need further testing or specialist advice. An existing soil test is needed for nutrient-based crop recommendations. If you do not have one, we can discuss testing arrangements. Soil sampling and laboratory fees are quoted separately. This assessment helps you understand your starting point. Detailed crop, irrigation, input, or pest management plans can be arranged as separate FarmFix services.
